- Welcome to my Weblog! I am the library media specialist @ Plain Dealing Middle/High School in Plain Dealing, Louisiana, population: salute!! I have previously taught English at Parkway for tewleve and a half years, and served a year there in the library before taking the PDMH job in December, 2009. Before I came to Parkway I taught three years at C.E. Byrd High School. I am currently working on my Masters of Library and Information Science degree at LSU, currently enrolled in 4 hours. Somebody bring me a cup of coffee. I love to cook. I have three precious children: a son, a daughter, and a daughter-in-law! I love reading anything, especially books, and I enjoy gardening unless it's hot. I love to drink coffee...really hot but I love those McDonald's McCafes...Iced mocha is my fave. I want to be able to say like Paul,"...I have learned to be content whatever state I am in." Philipians 4:11
